Is pale gray the only colour available?

No, pale gray and beige are the base colours, however other colours are available for special orders.
Is it possible to leave our Candock in the water during the winter months?

It is possible, however only if there is no ice movement during the winter. If ice condition and weather permits it, leaving your Candock in the water will not only save you time, it will also save on fees associated with the removal and re-installation of the dock.

If there is ice movement during the winter, it is highly recommended that your dock be stored during the winter.
What kind of weather conditions can the Candock withstand?

As with all other types of floating docks, a protected area where waves are inferior to 2” or 0.6m is recommended. We have however frequently witnessed our system withstand extreme weather and tidal conditions. Our modular system is of small size, allowing it to move easily with the waves, instead of resisting them.

Does exposure to sunlight affect the product?

Candock is resistant to ultraviolet rays therefore sunlight will not affect its properties. As well, its light colour allows it to remain at a comfortable temperature whenever walking bare feet on the dock, contrary to the black material used by other manufacturers.
What is the warranty on the product?
Candock offers a limited lifetime warranty on its products.

Can I install my Candock dock myself?

Yes, in the case of a normal installation, as the product is very simple to assemble and to install. At the time of purchase, our retailer or distributors will provide you with the information necessary to install the dock yourself. They can also offer you their installation service. If you do experience problems with the installation, we invite you to contact us directly via e-mail or thru our toll-free number.

Can the dock be moved around on the water?

Yes, the Candock system is very light and can be easily towed behind a small boat, entirely, or in sections.
How many cubes must I use in order to have good stability? Is the surface slippery?

You must use three cubes wide for minimum stability. The average number of cubes used is between 3 and 5. Of course by increasing the number of cubes used, you improve the stability of the dock.

The surfaces of our cubes have a special motif, which, under normal usage, are designed to provide an anti-skid surface.

Does your product require much maintenance?

Other than normal cleaning of the surface, the product requires virtually no maintenance. This leaves more free time to enjoy the use of your Candock dock.
Why buy a Candock instead of another product?

Candock will be the last dock you ever buy. It is virtually maintenance-free, environmentally sound, light, economic, durable, and easy to assemble, and it can be modified year after year if you wish, or even give it a completely new function.
How can we purchase the product? What are the minimum quantities? What are the methods of payments?

To receive accurate answers to these questions, you much provide us with an on-line submission, providing us with as much detail as possible. Each installation is unique, and depends on where you live, method of payment and terms of delivery, etc.
